From our Pastors:

As one of the newest Catholic Schools in Connecticut, we’re blessed to be able to offer students in Waterbury and surrounding towns, a safe and nurturing environment for which to learn. We're excited for what the future holds as the blended school family of both the former Blessed Sacrament School and St. Mary School.

Under the capable leadership of our new Principal, Mrs. Christa Chodkowski and our Academic Dean, Mrs. Michele Banach, we’re one of only a few schools in the Archdiocese of Hartford to integrate STREAM into our rigorous curriculum standards. This includes cross-curricular focuses in the areas of Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Math.

We see our school as a partner with families in the important work of guiding children in identifying, developing, and sharing their God-given talents and gifts for their personal fulfillment and His greater honor and glory. May God continue the good work He began in us far into the future!

Very Rev. James M. Sullivan, Rector of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception

From our Principal:

Welcome to the very beginnings of a beautiful new chapter at CAW!

I am so excited to continue to settle in and get to know and love our Catholic Academy family! For any prospective families interested in enrolling, we do have very limited seats available in several classrooms, while other classes have waiting lists. Please call us at the office to find out how you might be able to join the Catholic Academy family! We are in the office from 8 to noon Monday through Thursday during the summer, and our number is 203-756-5313. God bless you, and please enjoy the magnificent gift of summer that our Lord has given us!
